Tandem paragliding flight at Krvavec

Ambrož pod Krvavcem is a small village on the southern slope of Krvavec in the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, above Cerklje na Gorenjskem. The take-off at 1.320 m faces south, which means reliable lift and long flights; the height difference to the landing in the valley is about 900 m.

During the flight you see the Ljubljana basin, Šmarna gora, in clear weather the Julian Alps with Triglav, and Ljubljana airport (Brnik) below you. We land on a flat meadow in the valley, which is also the meeting point.

We meet at the meeting point in the valley near Cerklje na Gorenjskem (we send you the exact location and time when confirming the date) and drive up to the take-off together. After the flight we land back in the valley, where your car is waiting.

• From Ljubljana: motorway towards Kranj, exit Brnik/Vodice, then through Cerklje na Gorenjskem — about 30–40 minutes.
• From Kranj: towards Šenčur and Cerklje na Gorenjskem — about 20 minutes.
• The road from Cerklje to Ambrož is paved and passable by car.

We do not schedule dates in advance — the flight depends on the weather. When signing up you suggest a date (or choose "I don't know the date yet") and we confirm it when the forecast is good. We fly all year round, most often in the morning and late afternoon, when the air is calmest.

A tandem flight costs 120 €. Included are the tandem wing, passenger harness, helmet and transport from the meeting point to the take-off. You can pay by card, Apple/Google Pay, PayPal or with a gift voucher.

A flight is also a great gift: a tandem flight gift voucher is valid for 24 months, and the recipient chooses the date.

How long does a flight from Ambrož pod Krvavcem last?
From 15 minutes to one hour — depending on the weather. In the middle of the day thermals are stronger and the flight longer; in the morning and evening the air is calmer.

Where do we meet?
At the meeting point in the valley near Cerklje na Gorenjskem; we send the exact location and time when confirming the date. We drive up to the take-off together and land back in the valley.

What if the weather is bad?
We monitor the weather and call you the day before if the forecast is unfavourable — we then agree a new date.

Can children fly?
Yes, under-18s with the consent of a parent or guardian. The limit is a passenger weight of up to 120 kg.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
