Paragliding course for beginners

You need no experience — just the wish to fly and hiking boots. The path from the first wing inflation to independent pilot is divided into three stages, so after each you decide whether to continue.

The path to independent pilot

  1. Introductory course · 50 € — one day on a gentle meadow: equipment, inflating the wing, first short hops. Find out whether the sport suits you; the price counts towards the beginner course. More →
  2. Beginner course · 350 € — 6 to 10 days of 4 hours: theory, ground handling and progressively higher flights from lower take-offs, guided by radio. Goal: independent take-off, flight and landing. All equipment is ours. More →
  3. Advanced course · 500 € — at least 50 high flights from mountain take-offs (including Ambrož pod Krvavcem), turns, spot landing, lift and weather. Preparation for the pilot licence exam. More →

Attendance at every session is not compulsory — you set the pace. Courses run on Saturdays and weekday afternoons, at weekends in winter.
