Together with the beginner course it is available as the complete course for 900 € instead of 1200 €.

Equipment rental is included in the course price up to your 15th high flight. After that you can keep renting the equipment or buy your own — students get a reduced price and can pay in instalments.

Participants arrange shared transport to the flying site among themselves. Each participant decides for themselves whether their name, town and chosen contact (phone or e-mail) are shown to the other participants of the same course date — this is set with a separate consent at registration or in the profile settings. Without consent the details are not visible; declining does not affect your registration.

For everyone who has completed the beginner course and wants to become an independent paragliding pilot.

The goal is 50 high flights; in good weather you collect them in about ten flying days. We fly every day conditions allow. During the flight you are in radio contact with the instructor, and after landing you go through the flight together.

Theory — the six subjects the exam also covers:

• why a paraglider flies: basics of aerodynamics and flight mechanics (A)
• reading the weather as a pilot: aviation meteorology (M)
• what the gear is made of and how to care for it: construction and materials (K)
• what to do when something goes wrong: emergency procedures (E)
• the body in the air: aviation medicine (LM)
• the rules of the air: aviation regulations (Z)

Practice — 50 high flights in which you gradually master:

• ridge soaring and your first thermals
• different launch and landing techniques
• rapid descents for when conditions change
• active flying — keeping the wing calm in rough air
• ground handling in stronger wind

• flying equipment up to your 15th high flight
• online classroom with exam preparation and a flight log
• photos and videos of your flights

A completed beginner course, plus sports clothing and sturdy shoes. After the 15th high flight you need your own or rented equipment.

You need around ten flying days for 50 flights. How many calendar days that is depends on the weather and your time: someone who can fly every day gets from the first day of training to the exam in 14 full days.

As soon as you finish the beginner course; from then on we fly every day the weather is right. You get a text message with the time and place no later than the day before.

Most often from Dobrovlje, Krvavec and Donačka gora; as your skills allow, from other take-offs too.

We run courses all over Slovenia; we choose the take-off together according to the weather, your skill level and your pace.

Once your logbook shows 50 high flights we register you for the exam: a theory and a practical part before the examining board.
